{"id":538,"date":"2015-05-28T09:24:19","date_gmt":"2015-05-28T09:24:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ultra.toys\/?p=538"},"modified":"2023-10-30T23:33:22","modified_gmt":"2023-10-30T23:33:22","slug":"vitessa-von-steinheil-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ultra.toys\/?p=538","title":{"rendered":"Vitessa Von Steinheil"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This is my new project, with a release date for the Wonder Festival 2015 Summer.<\/p>\n<p>This is a project in collaboration with <strong><a href=https:\/\/rakugakijikan.ninja-web.net\/\">Ryota-H<\/a><\/strong> artist who created this fantastic illustration below. I really wanted to create the whole illustration as a figurine, using ZBrush and 3D Printing. A lot of challenges in this model, especially with the clothes and because the illustration has a strong character, which I will have to reproduce.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ultra.toys\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Vitessa_original.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"\\aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/ultra.toys\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Vitessa_original.jpg\" alt=\"\\Vitessa_original\\\" width=\"\\896\\\" height=\"\\1200\\\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Then I started my model simply by creating a ZSphere skeleton to fit the Vitessa proportions. You can see on the background the character sheet that Ryota-H created for me.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ultra.toys\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Vitessa_02.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"\\aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/ultra.toys\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Vitessa_02.jpg\" alt=\"\\Vitessa_02\\\" width=\"\\1920\\\" height=\"\\1080\\\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Below is the first sculpting pass to block out the proportions and shape.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ultra.toys\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Vitessa_03.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"\\aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/ultra.toys\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Vitessa_03.jpg\" alt=\"\\Vitessa_03\\\" width=\"\\1920\\\" height=\"\\1080\\\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This is the result after 1h40 of sculpting, which I sent to Ryota-H for doing some paint over and visually editing the model.<\/p>\n<p>This is a quick timelapse:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/0x6C0vfZ_L0?rel=0\" width=\"\\853\\\" height=\"\\480\\\" frameborder=\"\\0\\\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ultra.toys\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Vitessa_06e.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"\\aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/ultra.toys\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Vitessa_06e.jpg\" alt=\"\\Vitessa_06e\\\" width=\"\\1344\\\" height=\"\\1732\\\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And a cleaner version, including the hands and some refinements on the head.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ultra.toys\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Vitessa_09.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"\\aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/ultra.toys\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Vitessa_09.jpg\" alt=\"\\Vitessa_09\\\" width=\"\\1920\\\" height=\"\\1080\\\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This stage started to incorporate the first feedback that Ryota-H sent back to me, but it is still in progress.
